Consigned/Vendor Managed


Vendor Managed Inventory (VMI) can be a boon to a company’s 

bottom line if you are aware of all the benefits involved. There is a wide range of VMI solutions, from simple bi-weekly walkthroughs to check stock packaging levels to blanket POs.


For most products, whether consumer goods or manufacturing parts, success means ensuring you have the right product on the shelf at the right time. But how do you ensure you have the right inventory levels consistently day in and day out? 


By keeping inventory high? This can be a costly option. If you have too much inventory, you risk having unused, unprocessed inventory that is subject to perishability, safety, and quality controls, or

obsolescence, in addition to storage costs.


If there is too little inventory, you risk not having the product on the shelf and losing market share, incurring increased costs for 

expedited shipping, or having your entire production line come to a halt. That’s where the benefits of inventory management come in.


When we, the vendor have inventory at the customer site we 

periodically review (either remotely or physically) the inventory on hand and will restock the inventory when the vendor deems it necessary.

We Can Purchase On your Behalf


There are times when a company cannot order direct with a supplier, yet they are offering the product they need. This can be because the company does not have a credit account setup, or restrictions are in place where the supplier is non-approved by the company needing to purchase. This is where we can assist.


You source your own product/service and provide us with 

that quotation, those costs are yours and will not change. We then contact the supplier on your behalf to discuss the purchase. We will then provide you with our quotation for a handling charge to cover the administration of the sale, including any bank/card charges, 

organising the freight requirements and documentation.


This service is a great solution for those unforeseen ordering issues that can negatively impact on the day or indeed turn a standard job into an urgent one.

Bandsaw supply and servicing:


Our supplier also has their own bandsaw welding centre and orders can be placed on a weekly service that covers the North West using their reliable network of vans. Their bandsaw centre also has a well stocked carbon and Bi-metal coil store. Contact our sales team with your requirements and we will help develop an appropriate solution for you.

Repairing Power Tools


We also offer a power tool repair service, with which a repair of all the major brands of power tools is possible. We send your tool of for an investigation as to if the repair is viable, if not it will be returned free of charge. If a repair is possible we will then quote you the price and you can decide whether to proceed or not.
